Late July hike up to Muir.
Began hiking at approximately 8:30.
Snowfields were beginning to soften up once we reached Panorama Point.
The 3 hours spent working up the snowfield was physically exhausting, and also mentally challenging because there was so little change in the scenery.
It still took almost 45 minutes to reach Camp Muir once sighted.
Excited to do it again, but would recommend arriving as early as possible to make the trek up the snowfields more quick.
Crevasses were not an issue at this time, but it's necessary to be aware of them.
Bring snow pants and a trash bag to glissade down!
