Description

Hemlocks Ridge is the first section of the famed Hemlocks bowl.

It’s hike-in only and considered one of the gems of Mammoth’s sidecountry and a pow paradise after a storm.

A number of chutes and rock drops exist off the ridge but due to steepness and the trees it’s a bit sketchy unless the snow is deep.

In sight of the Outpost where Chair 14 base area lies, Hemlocks Ridge is typically observed by the masses gathered below and it’s not uncommon to hear jeers and cheers from the crowd when someone drops in.
