Description

This lovely area ofers many possibilities and your route choice will depend on how much effort you're willing to put in! Go down the first part of the Aguila or Tobogan pistes and drop off to the right to reach the Valley of San Juan.

The valley can also be accessed via the lower part of the Divisoria piste. This is a very safe place in that there are no cliffs and several easy ways down, but be aware of the avalanche danger.

You should check the avalanche report and if there any danger, save this run for another day.

Once in the valley you have differently orientated slopes, so ski wherever you see better snow conditions.

It is a open wide valley and the view is amazing.

To get out the valley you can walk up diagonally to the Divisoria or to the Virgen de las Nieves pistes or to Alla de la Mora, but pay attention to this way out, if you go too far you will not have way up to the resort and will have a big walk! It is a long excursion: You have 11km of ski and 1300 m height loss if you go to the end of the valley but if you do so, you have to plan it in advance and have someone to pick you up over there.

There are some adventure companies who could arrange that for you.
