This red run is to the far left of the Samoëns ski domain when looking up the mountain.
Access provided by the Aigle Noir black run which has to have the first 300 metres skied before turning right on to the Parements, hence the reason it is given a Grade 5 difficulty rating.
This run, which was previously the domain of local off piste skiers, is high above the lake, with the lake on the left and a vertigo-inducing drop into the Giffre valley on your right.
With stunning views, this is a good run for those wishing to try and overcome their fear of heights.
Quite narrow, it is a reasonably uniform run which turns around two 'sides' of the lake and re-joins with the Dahu blue run.
