Description

The lines under the Stabelebahn are easy to spot for everyone but most people are afraid of exploring new stuff.

On the far left side of this chair there are some lines but to get to those nice powder runs it is essential to cross the mountainside as high as possible. Get off the chairlift and try to cross to the left side right under Stabelebahn.

A big cliff/rock is in the middle of the crossing, so it is not possible to pass higher there; just pass under it.

After that you can look down to an open face with barely any rocks or trees in it.

If anything isn't tracked or is looking good with some powder left, ride it! The line will lead you to slope 30 which is comes from the glacier so there should be no chance of getting lost.

If the conditions are not good keep crossing the hillside.

At this point there should be something like a spine, normally a bit rocky because the wind blows hard on this spot during snowfall.

Cross as high as possible for a longer run.

After passing the spine another open field with a variation of lines will appear in front of your eyes.

Also crossing the hillside some meters more makes sense if it is less tracked there.

Before dropping in, look down and spot a big mogul (approx.

20m wide) at the end of the line in the middle of the face.

At first it looks like a perfect spot for a powder kicker, but behind it there are some stones and trees so you'd better check it first and don´t jump full speed! Just pass it on the left or right side.

After that this off-piste finishes on slope number 30, which comes from the Rettenbachglacier.
