Description

The East meadows on Ross Peak are great skiing in mid-season.

They hold good powder stashes long after a storm, and are a great spot to spend all day making laps.

They are right around 35 degrees at the steepest rollers, and have about 1000 feet of fall line skiing.

Park at the Bracket creek parking lot, then head up the North fork road.

Take the main creek drainage for about 2.5 miles, then start heading up to the right as the trees thin out and you start to see Ross really clearly.

Take these trees up to the East shoulder and either drop in before the steeper East face, or go up for some additional vertical.

Ski the creek back to your track and out.
