Description

Bitter Sweet is made up of 2 separate chutes.

The skier's right one has less exposure and can always be exited smoothly without an air or technical moves.

The skier's left chute has rocks and pecker trees beneath the exit and you may have to get creative on your exit.

Both chutes lie above steep trees and rocks that you will have to hop turn through if you're skiing the fall line and a little left.

Most people will ski the skier's right chute and traverse a little bit South to the wide open slopes of The Drain.

Bitter Sweet is usually nice, smooth, wind buff.

It can get sun baked and the right one gets skied frequently.

The skier's left chute gets sluffed out regularly and is a little steeper than the right.

Traverse South from the top of Schlasman's then hike on the ridge to the notch just before the final up section.
