Description

Catch and Release is an awesome way to ski untracked snow while getting a little gnarly between powder sections.

It doesn't get skied too often because of the rocky cruxes, and its proximity to other popular lines.

The first section gets sluffed out during control, so it's hard to get this part in great condition.

The entire line can get sun baked, especially later in the season.

Head to the top of the North Bridger hike, right across from the bomb box.

You'll be dropping through an upper rock zone with plenty of options for air right off the ridge.

Fall line will try to grab you to the right, fight it and go left to a rocky rollover.

You will have Chute 1 on your right and Angel's Dust on your left.

There are many ways through this rock area, including quick pointers and huge airs, down into the open powder below.

Be cautious of rocks in the runouts and landings, especially early and mid season, this zone has lots of sharks.

After a handful of lower angle pow turns, Catch and Release rolls over one more time into a smaller rocky section.

You can easily find your way over or around these rocks, stopping on the Skier's Traverse above the South side of Bridger Gully.
