Description

It takes some significant effort to find your way over to Wood's.

Located on the far northern end of the resort, you’ll have to pedal across several two-way trails to find the top of this narrow singletrack descent.

Once down at the bottom, you’ll have to pedal down the paved road to return to the base of the lift.

Both of these factors keep most riders off the Wood’s and Crusader trails, meaning you’ll probably have this run all to yourself! Wood’s is renowned for a pair of absolutely massive wooden wall rides.

The first time you roll up to these features, you may have to scope them and work up to the commitment.

These aren’t easy wall rides that allow you to gradually ride your way up the wooden side.

Instead, you need to drop and roll into the first major wall ride, and hit the second at top-speed.

There’s no alternative option, aside from sticking to the dirt.

But once you hit them, you’ll just have to rail these stunning features again and again! In addition to the wall rides, you can expect a few wooden drops and big jumps.

Like Crusader, Wood’s trail is one of the old school downhill lines on the mountain that harkens back to DH shredding in the 90s and early 2000s.

Savor this unique trail character!
