Description

A lovely walk with a long continual climb to the largest refuge in the Picos de Europa; the Refugio de Vega Uriello.

Nestled underneath the emblematic mountain Naranjo de Bulnes and with the sparse Uriello meadow close by, the refuge is in an amazing setting.

There is a major track up to the car park just before the Pandebano col and a lot of people drive this far but the track is often in very poor condition.

The walk from Pandebano onwards is fabulous albeit a long climb.
