Description

From the summit of Mt Kosciuszko, follow the spur to the north down to where the spur inverts, and begins climbing up Townsend.

Follow the ridge on the skiers left hand side as cornices form on the skiers right.

From here simply follow the ridgeline to the north and skin up to Townsend, you will be able to scope a few of the Racecourse runs on the way up.

This will most likely take about 3-4 hours, and for the opposite journey, follow this backwards!
