Description

You begin by heading east off Alice Rawson Peak, the first section of the run is a mellow featureless slope, then drops down between large granite outcrops following an obvious drainage line, as the pitch becomes steeper and is maintained all the way down into Lady Northcote Canyon.

This run can hold some really nice quality snow, and due to its easterly aspect and relatively protected slope, snow can hold here well into spring.

The views down the valley add to the really enjoyable turns you can have down through the granite outcrops, with slightly less vertical than The Alice Rawson Run, this run does however hold the snow better than those further north.

The return journey is easiest when you return either boot packing/skinning straight up the gully, or following the Lady Northcote Canyon return route marked on the map.
