Description

Take the Castlerock Double to the top, ski down Middle Earth.

Start looking for the entrance to skiers right after about 20 feet.

Look carefully because it’s easy to miss.

The Poop Chutes are some of the most technical lines on the mountain.

They’re tight, steep and some have mandatory airs.

These chutes aren’t particularly long but they are relentless in terms of difficulty.

As you ski across the ‘flat’ upper section of Middle Earth, way before it starts to curve, look for an entrance to skiers right.

This entrance is very easy to miss, so look carefully.

A short sidestep will bring you to will bring you to the chutes, you can drop in right away or traverse out and explore.

Be prepared for anything in this area, the trees can be extremely tight and obstacles are common.

One chute actually terminates in a 5-10 foot mandatory air above Middle Earth.

If you are uncomfortable negotiating obstacles of this nature, it’s best to leave this one to the experts.
