Description

This approach route ascends the ridge beyond Paradise via the Long Trail (North).

This backpacking trail traverses the length of Vermont, crossing many peaks, including Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen.

From where the trail leaves Paradise, it ascends the ridge as a sidestep.

After about 5 minutes of sidestepping, the ridge gets steeper an becomes a bootpack.
