Low angle glades that go great in combination with Wood Lot

Wooded areas are like normal pistes but they are managed differently.

At Sugarbush, wooded areas are patrolled and maintained by the resort and are put on the map like normal trails.

But they are not opened or closed, the skier decides if it is skiable.

This means wooded areas may have unmarked obstacles and snow conditions may be variable without warning.

Skiers need to be prepared for anything when entering.

Wild Turkey is a low angle hardwood glade located below Heaven’s Gate Traverse, just beyond Big Birch.

These woods can be somewhat tight and bushy if you stray off the beaten path, but otherwise they are pretty uneventful.

Wild Turkey gives skiers the opportunity for a pretty epic linkup since Lew’s Line/Wood Lot are right above it and Witch Hazel is right below it.

Wild Turkey ends on Lower Downspout, which you can take back to the lift, or cut directly across to access Witch Hazel.
