Description

When the conditions allow, the Center Punch of Sacajawea's East face is one to be proud of.

The cliff bands halfway down the line rarely fill in sufficiently to not have to billy goat through them.

Late season, or after some favorable winds are the best time to go for this line.

The top of the line is a hanging bowl above small cliffs, so be sure about your snowpack assessment.

There are two main ways through the cliff bands, skier's left and skier's right.

The left weakness is just a little right of fall line directly from the summit, you can see it pretty well from your drop in spot.

The skier's right way is just left of the Corner Pocket, at the bottom of a subtle shoulder.

Both crux's usually will fill in to be about 5 feet wide.

After getting through the pinch and past the cliffs, you will have wide open turns down Plane Crash Bowl.
