From the car park next to the characteristic restaurant on Lake Pianozes, take the road that leads to the mountain hut Rifugio Lago d'Ajal, following track n° 430.

When you arrive near the hut, which is open only in the summer season, continue along track n° 431 until you reach a clearing. At the crossroad take track n° 406 until you reach the road to the Giau Pass, cross the road and continue to the left until you reach the Malga Peziè de Parù, a beautiful traditional mountain restaurant, right at the centre of a lovely Alpine pasture surrounded by forests and mountains such as the majestic Tofana di Rozes and the Cinque Torri.

It has a spacious external terrace, and it is famous for its fine cuisine.

In this elegant and familiar atmosphere you can enjoy the classic dishes of Ampezzo and mountain cuisine, prepared according to the original recipes. Return to the car park following the same route taken for the ascent. The itinerary is not particularly difficult.

However, it is of paramount importance to consider the length and height difference as well as the snow conditions. It is always advisable to rely on the local Mountain Guides and consult the weather forecast and snow reports before any excursion.
