Description

The Corner line in October Bowl is a great option when the stability is good.

There is a reason this bowl is also known as Avalanche Bowl.

It is super North facing and relatively protected from the wind.

Start at the Northern part of the ridge, top of The Worm.

Ski down about 20 feet along the ridgeline to your left to find the small notch that is your entrance.

You will probably have a quick pointer or small hop to gain entrance to the line.

Once in, you will be on a 100 foot shelf that falls away on 3 sides.

Skier’s right is the easiest and most straightforward, you ski along the rock face in a subtle chute until dropping out into the wide open bowl.

Fall line and skier’s left are more technical, and will require some route finding.

You can find little flutes and airs in this zone before skiing out in to the open bowl.
