Description

Hitting the Center of the East Face of Gnarnia Bowl provides one of the longest fall line runs that the Norther Bridgers has to offer.

Its about 1700 feet from the ridge down to the flats below.

This area sees a lot of wind, so it's hard to get this bowl in perfect conditions.

It isn't too steep on the East Face, about 37 degrees.

Sometimes little side chutes will fill in on the North side of the main East face for some other options for entry into the main bowl.

You can get here from many different ways; North from Frazier, from the Ainger Headwall, or take the forest road from lower down in the clear cuts heading North.
