Description

The south-west face of Sacajawea is a really great run with warmer weather and a corn cycle.

It's mostly filled in all season, and can be seen from town.

It starts out as an open slope at about 28 degrees.

After a couple hundred feet, it pitches over into the gully.

You don't necessarily have to take this line, you can stay in the mellow to your right, or get into more obstacles and tree islands to the right.

The gully is the fall line approach though.

It's about 700 feet long, and 30 feet wide with a big shoulder on your right as you descend.

The line flattens out just above a cliff that almost disappears mid winter.

Either stop here, or keep going through the crux for another couple hundred feet of skiing.

Return the same way you skied down, getting on top of that mellow shoulder as quickly as possible.
