Description

This is a short but steep north facing run off the top of Glory with features everywhere.

It is classic Teton style mini golf terrain, full of mandatory cliffs and lots of rock.

It is recommended to walk around the cirque of Little Tuckerman's Ravine to take a look at things before skiing this zone. From the top of the Mount Glory, follow the rib running east, to the left of Glory Bowl.

You can drop in to your left at nearly any time, but if the sun hasn't been too strong lately some of the best terrain is the east/north-east facing stuff as the rib fans out after several hundred feet.

Not only are these some of the longer runs, but this section is the most straightforward when skiing.

Though most chutes to the due north (skiers left) go in average snow years, things do depend on how the winter has been.

Generally speaking, the cliffs are the standard, sloped, peppery takeoffs and landings in line with the rest of the surrounding terrain. Keep your momentum up as you reach the bottom of the steep section as this terrain benches significantly going into the trees.

Once on the far side of the bench, trend to the riders left through the trees.

The ridge you started out on continues to the road, and it is easiest to finish your run by staying to the left of the ridge, in the gully at the road for two reasons: The ridge ends as a rocky embankment before the road and is difficult to get down, and there is more room for cars to pull over if hitchhiking back to the top of the pass.
