Description

Access is by the red slope "48" from lifts on either side of the border.

From the bottom of the peak 45 minutes walking will be needed, about 30 minutes with the skins if you prefer, but deep snow can make this an hour, eventually leading to the cross on the summit.

You go straight down the French side, steeply, where you will see the rescue chalet, the line is about 200 meters long.

There is a choice to jump the only rock on this line, of about 7-10 meters jump depending on your speed.

The freeride turns are lovely here but alas over too soon.

You stay on the left side of the mountain before joining the "chalet-neuf" blue slope.

This face does avalanche and there can be tell tale creep lines, an indication to be particularly careful or avoid it.
