While not the longest adventure in theses parts, climbing Navajo Peak has its challenges in route finding and the constant steepness of the climb.
If you are to embark on this adventure you should know that it only follows a trail for about a quarter mile.
At a obvious clearing to your right you will go off trail into the undergrowth that can hide sudden drops.
When you get to the base of the mountain start your steep climb upwards.
At the ridge make sure not to drop onto the front face, this side is very loose and getting back is difficult.
On the way down be sure not to go into the gully as it cliffs out.
