Description

Despite being in the guidebook this route is fairly quiet.

Few seem to be aware that the Yoho Valley gets more precipitation than the rest of the Rockies ( so much so there are several cedar groves in the area).

As a consequence Narao Glades gets descent amounts of snow, and is North Facing, so avoids sun effect.

The approach is perhaps one of the shortest for the quality of skiing.

Numerous lines are possible through the mostly well spaced trees.

The alpine offers little good skiing, but when the light is bad, or the avi risk is high this is a great zone.
