Description
As well as taking you through lovely scenery, the trail also acts as a kind of exhibition, featuring sculptures and plaques commemorating all of the famous people who have visited Thumersbach, from the Von Trapp family to Paul Wittgenstein, and many many more.
Beginning at the Thumersbach village square, head to the kindergarten where you start to climb into the forest.
The trail is signed ‘90’.
You walk in the direction of Grafleiten, enjoying wonderful views of Lake Zell all the way.
You then climb up through the forest and loop back in the direction that you came, but following the Höchenpromenade trail.
This hike is easy, short, and great for families with kids.
