Description

This is an exhilarating tour of one of the finest mountains in the Kitzbühel Alps.

Beginning in Schradel-Bühel, head in a westerly direction up the valley, until you get to Mühlbach where you leave the valley floor and begin to climb.

First, you will find yourself cutting through a forest before coming out at the summit of Obingkogel (1303m) and on to Reisenbergköpfl (1362m) and Hornköpfl (1773m), which lies just below the Kitzbühler Horn summit.

From this point, you begin to make your way down to Kitzbühel.

It is a steep ride, with many rocks and roots, fields and forests.

The start of the descent takes you through a series of switchbacks and ends with a gentle, almost flat section across fields and into the outskirts of Kitzbühel.

You will finish up at the valley station of the Hornbahn 1.
