Description
The cool thing about this route is that there is snow in the couloirs all year, so when the first snow falls in autumn you can go right here and have a good time.
The approach is long, but if you spend the night in the cabin at the foot of the mountains that really helps.
Book your stay at the local Joker store in Nord-Lenangen.
On the approach, follow the fjord for the first part, until you find the trail where the rivers enter the fjord.
The couloirs themselves are steeper in the top, up to 50 degrees, and more mellow towards the bottom.
The west couloir is steeper and narrower.
Beware of the cerac that hangs over the bottom half of the east couloir.
