Description

This tour follows the road leading up to Fred Burr Reservoir, before breaking off to the North approximately 3.7 miles from the trailhead.

Climb north through steep glades until the sub-alpine valley opens up, the hanging valley flattens and the ridgeline to the western summit becomes visible.

From there, counter to the ridge, and follow to this great summit at 8,500'.

The ski out is 3,500' of great north facing terrain, followed by a fairly slow road exit that never has quite enough drop for a proper schuss.
