Description

We start from La Magdeleine (1650 m.) towards the classic and well known flat route that takes us to Chamois (1800m.), a village without cars and surrounded by silence.

After a little more than 4km and a hundred meters of elevation gain, we enter the village until we meet the path that zigzags under the chairlift of Lod Lake (2000 m.).

From here the trail is not marked and we suggest to pass on the slopes, which are steep but not difficult.

After a few hundred meters of effort we find on our left the marked path that climbs in the woods up to the Col de Cheneil, from here we continue to the left in a slight descent along the entire ridge, enjoying the magnificent panorama that opens up in front of us and the village of Chamois below.
