Description

This is the northernmost of the three couloirs on Sultindan.

They're all fun runs, so if you see another party on the approach you can just hike further up the valley and you can have one for yourself. With all the great ski tours in the area only real reason to go here is when you need the qualities of a north facing run.

Be it because of wind or sun, or that the snow lasts longer there in the spring.

But when you need that it delivers good sustained skiing at around 45 degrees, with a fairly uncomplicated approach.

Park at the little parking area beneath Andersdalstind, then follow the north shoulder of the mountain and you'll see the couloirs straight ahead.
