Description

The Sound's face is a very steep wall that you must be very careful with.

You can access the Sound of Music in 2 ways.

One is the steeper but shorter Homerun hike from the Sun Peak chair, and the other is the longer, flatter hike to Roscoe's off the Saddleback chair.

The Sound has high avalanche danger and are not commonly patrolled like in resort terrain.

Make sure to have your gear and a partner before skiing the Sound.

I also suggest checking out with patrol before skiing to make sure they write your name down and to make sure you are in the clear.
