Description

Pointy Chutes are very steep shots off of Pointy Peak.

It is next to Sound of Music's bowl and actually spills into the bowl at the bottom.

You can access it from the Homerun hike off of Sun Peak chair.

Pointy Peak has high avalanche danger and is not commonly patrolled like in resort terrain.

Make sure to have your gear and a partner before skiing.

I also suggest checking out with patrol before skiing to make sure they write your name down and to make sure you are in the clear.
