Description

The Grand Teton is a bold peak and believe it or not, it can be skied.

The only really safe route to take is the Ford-Stettner.

This route is made up of 3 couloirs, the Ford, Chevy, and Stettner.

From the summit, you ski the Ford.

The Ford starts out open and steep with many boulders.

It then narrows into a sketchy, steep, and exposed couloir.

Of course, you must climb up the couloirs to ski them so you must have the equipment to climb.

You must also have avalanche gear and a licensed guide before you ski it.
