The goal is simple, to have the ultimate British Adventure, to embark on the most incredible journey possible from the most extreme points of the United Kingdom, taking almost anything but the quickest route. Based loosely on the GBDURO, the route aims for the most dramatic landscapes possible.

With some significant deviations however, and undertaking a selection of adventures long the way, this Great Escape route provides a hearty mix of gravel and road riding.
