Description

This one was the first I did, and that's where everything started ! You start from the valley with the crowd up to the Olperer hutte.

There are a lot of peoples on this way and if you look for remoteness just turn around.

Then you pass the hutte and its famous bridge, and arrive in a more quiet environment.

You can already see the summit and its final ridge.

You reach the base of the ridge and start scrambling in those big granite blocks, it is really playful and enjoyable ! On the top there is a small glacier left, cross it on the right and reach the last part of the ridge.

This part can be impressive and technical if you are not used to alpine terrain.

Better take the climbing equipment to protect this nice and exposed ridge.

On the way down, I recommend to stop at the hutte to eat a piece of cake !
