Description

This summit shows no technical difficulties (if the conditions are good, especially in fall).

You start from the dam and then start a steep hike on a beautiful trail until the Heinrich Schwaiger Haus.

From there, it starts to be a little more technical but there are fixed ropes to help you going up and down the difficult parts.

The summit is really beautiful and offers a nice view on the Grossglockner.

To avoid the use of the taxi, we went up the day before and slept next to the dam.

It is also possible to bike up the road.
