FATMAP difficulty grade
A long grind.
Long uphills...and even longer downhills. This is local pro Tim Faia's (Trek) favorite stage.
He's cut from a different cloth, so that should tell you that it's not for everyone. Stage 4 tackles the CO Trail in the reverse direction that it's normally ridden...which is kind of delightful, actually.
It's a stout test of endurance...and you'll be glad that there's a large cooler of ice-cold Coca-Cola at the finish.
