Description

Hard Guy and Dry Creek are two of Boise's best downhill rides, and are quite unique from each other.

Hard Guy snakes down an open ridge while Dry Creek dives through a forest ravine.

Dry Creek is rarely ridden uphill, but Hard Guy makes a good uphill for, guess who––hard guys. If you've already ridden the Shingle Creek - Dry Creek Loop and the 8th Street - Hard Guy Loop, why not combo Hard Guy and Dry Creek loop next? It's a big ride with a burly climb, but if you've done Dry Creek you know the downhill is totally worth it.

On this loop you'll also get some bonus time cruising through the woods at elevation on Ridge Road. The season is generally early summer through the fall, after the upper elevations have dried out.

That means the foothills––and the big climb––can be super hot, so start early.
