Description

Most people don't traverse all the way out to Shiprocks in the Upper Bowl, so you could find some really good skiing for your efforts.

This is the one spot in the bowl with rocks big enough to be called cliffs. You'll notice two main outcrops that are bigger than the rest.

The standard line is to split them by riding the little chute in between, but there's lots of room for variation.

There's even the potential for big air if the snow is ever good enough. The runout is straight down a lightly treed slope, then into thicker trees just before the catwalk at the base of the bowl.
