Description

Possibly the most coveted first tracks on the mountain, Rustler is proud east slope that catches all eyes from the chairlift.

Because it's so prominent, and because it melts out so fast, it's often the first thing skied after a storm.

Even if you catch first chair on a powder day, you probably won't be the first to boot up Rustler.

Chances are, someone else wanted it even more than you. This wide chute does come with avalanche danger, and it dumps into bounds in the lower bowl.

So don't go up there if you don't know what you're doing.
