Description

For people wondering what the safest first run to attempt in Mott Canyon is, Lift Line, accessed by Mott Canyon's Gate #5, is certainly the one.

The run goes directly under the chair so you're visible at all times.

It is also comparable to some of the bump runs under the Dipper and Comet Chairlifts (It's slightly narrower and steeper than those however).

The conditions are generally moguls/bumps and this is one of the most trafficked ways down the Canyon.

It's a great in between for those who don't want the gnarly chutes of Gates #1-2 or the technical glade runes offered by Gates #6, Gate #5's Lift Line provides a very fun bump run down the Canyon.

More tenured skiers should go for the steeps of Gates #1-3 or even Killebrew Canyon, but for medium-advanced skiers, this is a great first run in the canyon!
