Description

From the top lift station of the Aiguille du Midi cable car, ski down as for the classic Vallée Blanche before veering over to the foot of the East Face of Mont Blanc du Tacul and the Jager Couloir.

Climb the couloir, which is skiable from an altitude of 4000 metres.

There is a small mixed step separating the top of the line from the ridge above.

Ski back down the couloir taking care with an often icy crux section two thirds of the way down.

Skin back to the top lift station of the Midi or continue down the Vallée Blanche.
