Description

An esoteric line with impressive rocky surroundings.

Only attempt off the first lift in very cold conditions as it gets very early sun.

Prob best stay up the night before and get a pre dawn start From the top lift station of either the Aiguille du Midi or the Skyway Monte Bianco, go up to the Grand Capucin and climb a small couloir to looker's right side of the rock tower.

This brings you up onto a bench on top of a hanging serac.

There are two couloirs accessible from here which top out onto the Diable Arête.

The looker's right side one is slightly longer and steeper.

Climb one of these and ski back down the same way.

Skin back up to the top lift station of the Skyway or the Aiguille du Midi or ski down the Vallée Blanche if conditions lower down are acceptable.
