Description

This family-friendly walk is a great option for a gentle shake of the legs with the whole family.

It’s entirely flat, paved, and shaded, making it optimal for a leisurely stroll with small kids and pushchairs.

Situated in the leafy and tranquil surroundings of Mid-Levels, this short and sweet walk is easily accessed by public transport or on foot.

You can choose to walk from one end to the other or return to your starting point.

Either way, there are buses and taxis at both ends. Begin your trip from Stubbs Road to end at Bowen Drive, and you’ll be rewarded with tree-framed vistas of Happy Valley, Wan Chai, and Central.

Follow the lush, meandering trail, and if the kids are up for a pause from the walking, there is a children’s playground in which to have some fun.

If the adults would also like a rest, stop for a relaxed breather at the many sitting areas and charming pagodas along the way, where there are also water fountains and toilet facilities.

For a little culture and a short-burst workout, take a short loop detour and head up the steps to the well-marked Lover’s Rock.

Little statues adorn the path up to the rock, and at the top, you’ll have incredible panoramic city views before continuing your route.

Upon reaching the end of the path, you have the option of walking down to Central or grabbing a passing taxi or bus from the road.
