Description

Copperfield is a popular blue run at Copper Mountain, usually groomed on one side and left for moguls on the other.

It’s also one of Copper’s daytime uphill routes, designated for uphill travel during operating hours 9:00am-3:30pm.

At a moderately steep and fairly sustained pitch, Copperfield is great for fitness laps.

Its location midway up the mountain, however, means the best way to get there is with a lift pass.

Alternatively, you could make a longer skin up using Chickaree uphill or West Tenmile uphill first.

From West Tenmile, you would transition for a short downhill via Clear Cut trail to start the uphill on Copperfield. Note that the route turns around at the top of Copperfield, and further uphill is not allowed from there.

See Copper's [uphill access](https://www.coppercolorado.com/things-to-do/activities-amenities/uphill-access) page for more information.
