Description

Sugar Bowl is one of the few Tahoe resorts that allows uphill travel, but a season pass is required as of the 2021/22 season.

With a pass you can go uphill anytime from 6am-7pm, by utilizing a handful of designated routes.

Mapped here is the route to the top of Mount Disney.

It begins from the Village base and goes up green and blue runs to the top of Disney Express Lift.

It’s just over a mile and just under 1000 vertical one-way, perfect for training laps in the morning or evening.

It also allows some fun options for skiing off of Mount Disney when the resort is open.

Outside of operating hours, however, uphillers should return down the same route.

See Sugar Bowl’s [uphill travel](https://www.sugarbowl.com/uphill) page for current policies and a number to call for daily updates.
