Description

Unlike most Utah ski resorts, Nordic Valley is super generous with its uphill access.

This fits Nordic's branding as an easy-going, learner-friendly ski hill.

If you live nearby and want to get some uphill training, this is the ideal place.

Uphill travel is allowed at all times of day or night, and on any open run.

You just need to follow a few basic safety rules like wearing lights, staying away from equipment, and watching out for downhill traffic.

See Nordic Valley's [uphill policy](https://www.nordicvalley.ski/uphill-access-policy/) online for more information. Nordic Valley is not a big ski area, but because uphill is allowed almost anywhere, you have tons of options for routes.

Shown here is a basic lap up Goldrush, which is a blue run under Apollo chair.

Just this one trail grants almost 1000 feet of gain, so with multiple laps or a linkup with Nordic Express area you can easily get quite a lot of vertical.
