Again this day allows a short semi rest day if conditions are poor and you can simply go from one hut to the other. We are reversing the route of 2 days ago, over the Grunhornlucke, 3280m, then down to Konkordiaplatz.

We are now heading up the E side of the Ewigschneefeld to access more open easier glacier, before heading NW towards steeper E facing slopes, which lead to the shoulder beneath the summit.

The actual summit of Trugberg, 3880m is an optional bootpack up the S facing ridge.

The descent can be back the same way, but if it is not too hot it is aesthetic to traverse the peak down the steeper S facing slopes, before heading to the Konkordia Hut for the night.
