Description

On this amazing high mountain adventure you'll steadily climb through magnificent forests and moorland, and emerge into high-alpine deserts as you enjoy spectacular views along the way to the summit. The challenging and less-travelled Lemosho route begins in the lush rainforests of the Lemosho Glades, before climbing beautiful on a beatiful path up the western breach of the mountain, to the Shira Plateau, which is the perfect spot to acclimatise. From here we can see the ice-capped peak of Kibo - our ultimate goal.

Our trail then follows the impressive Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route to the summit.

This adventure starts off with a few long days as we gain altitude, and has several days built in to help us acclimatise, vastly improving your chances of making the summit.

Overall, we spend 8 days trekking up and down the mountain.
