Description

The Wild One is the track leading you from the mountain station to the middle station of the Nockspitzbahn - where The Rough One natural trail is also starting.

The Wild One starts quickly and playfully and gets you straight into the cornering game thanks to its numerous berms.

In this trail, thanks to small-sized jumps, every biker gets the airtime feeling. This track is rated as Intermediate, The Wild One it’s a fast, fun and flowy single track that will guarantee fun for everyone.

It winds its way down 2.6km and 520 vertical meters from the top of the resort via different terrain - always switching in between sections on the ski piste and sections on adjacent forest. The ski piste soon leaves the forest and the trail turns off to riders’ left.

There then follows a long section of back-to-back banked corners leading up to the first major jump.

The trail continues similarly with jumps, berms and easy technical passages all the way to the lift poles, where things become steeper and slightly more technical.

Riders are strongly advised to show caution when traversing through the forest, especially on wet conditions.

The final section of the trail leads through the forest and culminates in a spectacular well shaped berm before reaching the middle station of the Nockspitzbahn cable car. From the middle station continue their downhill experience along the more challenging The Rough One trail to Götzens, a natural section of singletrack with plenty of roots, berms and wooden features. In the first third of the trail, there is a connecting path taking riders over to the other side of the bikepark in Mutters, where all the other trails are.
